Hollywood Beach Food Tour

Hollywood Beach Food Tour

Hollywood Beach, Florida, is a truly special place. Nowhere else in the state offers over 3.5 miles of beachfront walking quite like this. The iconic Hollywood Beach Broadwalk sits just steps from South Florida’s famous white sands and its stunning azure and turquoise ocean waters. We are proud to showcase this incredible jewel and lasting legacy of Joseph W. Young, blending a healthy dose of history and plenty of good food into the Hollywood Beach Food Tour. Our expert local guide, Monica, leads the tour most of the time, sharing her deep knowledge of the Broadwalk and its food scene. On days when Monica is unavailable, Steve—our other experienced guide—steps in to ensure the tour remains just as enjoyable and informative.

This 5-stop walking food tour begins at the beach, ends along the Intracoastal Waterway, and finishes with dessert—so come hungry because there’s plenty to enjoy! Flavors on this tour include authentic Latin American cuisine, classic American eats, and fresh seafood caught just a short distance from your table. These unique spots serve small, tapa-style plates, famous specialties, and sweet treats. The Hollywood Beach Food Tour is the perfect way to explore the diverse cultures and cuisines that make the Broadwalk so special, all curated and led by our hyper-local guides just for you.

Monica Tour Guide

Steve affectionately calls Monica “the Queen of Hollywood Beach” because that’s where he met her and where she loves to spend most of her time. Whether with family or friends, you can often find Monica enjoying Hollywood Beach’s famous Broadwalk.

A 25-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Monica left New York and New Jersey 15 years ago, transitioning from bartending to becoming a Chef in the Holistic Culinary space. We are truly blessed to have her as part of the South Florida Food Tour team!

This Colombian-Venezuelan firecracker has quick wit, a great sense of humor, and an intimate knowledge of Hollywood Beach, Florida. Oh, and she speaks four languages, too!

Did you know...

Hollywood Beach Broadwalk

It’s not a typo — the Hollywood Beach “Broadwalk” acquired its unique name and spelling from the city of Hollywood’s founder Joseph Young. He called it a “Broadwalk” instead of a “Boardwalk,” because no wood or boards were used in its construction. The Broadwalk stretches an impressive four miles and is packed with popular shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

Stay at, or at least visit, the Historic Hollywood Beach Resort for a one-of-a-kind South Florida experience. Joseph Young opened this beachfront resort as the pinnacle of his Hollywood by the Sea city in 1925. The hotel has celebrity status for its show-stopping Mediterranean Revival style, its time as Al Capone’s hangout, and stories that position it as the most haunted hotel in the city.

The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk emanates history and culture, and the best way to begin your exploration is with a Hollywood Beach Food Tour.
